Kansas Farm Bureau

The Kansas Farm Bureau represents grassroots agriculture. Established in 1919, this non-profit advocacy organization supports farm families. Kansas Farm Bureau stands up for its members through leadership development, agriculture education, legal defense, environmental advocacy, farm safety, risk management, rural development and international trade. Kansas Farm Bureau is a collection of men, women and families with talent, skill, intelligence, wisdom and faith, who understand that together, they are stronger and smarter than they are alone.

Kansas Farm Bureau supports all facets of agriculture—crops and livestock and everything in between. Kansas is a leader in wheat, grain sorghum and beef production. Ag is the state's largest economic driver valued at more than $35 billion. The agriculture sector in Kansas employs more than 427,000 people through direct, indirect and induced effect careers, according to information from the U.S. Census Bureau and the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
