Kansas Farm Food Connection 2024 Grocery Card Sweepstakes Official Rules

1. SPONSOR. The sponsor of the Kansas Farm Food Connection 2024 Grocery Card Sweepstakes (the "Promotion") is Kansas Farm Food Connection in respect of all entrants (from here on referred to as "Sponsor") at 2627 KFB Plaza, Manhattan, KS 66502.
2. ELIGIBILITY: This Promotion is open only to those who sign up at the sweepstakes landing page and who are 18 years of age or older as of the date of entry. The Promotion is only open to legal residents of Kansas and is void where prohibited by law. Employees of Kansas Farm Food Connection, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and suppliers, (collectively the “Employees”), and immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of Employees are not eligible to participate in the Promotion. The Promotion is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited.
3. PROMOTION TIMING/DESCRIPTION: Entries will be accepted online starting October 7, 2024, at 12 p.m. CDT and ending October 28, 2024, at 12 p.m. CDT. All online entries must be received by October 28, 2024, 12 p.m. CDT.
4. HOW TO ENTER: The Promotion must be entered by submitting an entry using the online form provided at https://us18.list-manage.com/survey?u=d20c5566834ba29d377d1f5b3&id=bda00f3f58. The entry must fulfill all Promotion requirements, as specified, to be eligible to win a prize. Entries that are incomplete or do not adhere to the rules or specifications may be disqualified at the sole discretion of Kansas Farm Food Connection. You may enter only once. You must provide the information requested. You may not enter more times than indicated by using multiple email addresses, identities, or devices in an attempt to circumvent the rules. If You use fraudulent methods or otherwise attempt to circumvent the rules, your submission may be removed from eligibility at the sole discretion of Kansas Farm Food Connection.
5. PRIZES: Two Winners of the Promotion (the “Winners”) will receive a grocery store gift card valued at $250. Actual/appraised value may differ at time of prize award. The specifics of the prize shall be solely determined by Kansas Farm Food Connection. No cash or other prize substitution shall be permitted except at Kansas Farm Food Connection’s discretion. The prize is nontransferable. Any and all prize-related expenses, including without limitation any and all federal, state, and/or local taxes, shall be the sole responsibility of Winners. No substitution of prize or transfer/assignment of prize to others or request for the cash equivalent by Winners is permitted. Acceptance of prize constitutes permission for Kansas Farm Food Connection to use Winners’ names, likenesses, and entries for purposes of advertising and trade without further compensation unless prohibited by law.
6. WINNER DETERMINATION AND NOTIFICATION: Two winners will be selected by random drawing under the supervision of Kansas Farm Food Connection. Winners will be notified by email within five (5) days following selection of Winners. Kansas Farm Food Connection shall have no liability for Winner(s)’ failure to receive notices due to spam, junk e-mail, or other security settings or for Winner(s)’ provision of incorrect or otherwise non-functioning contact information. If Winner(s) cannot be contacted, is ineligible, fails to claim the prize within five (5) days from the time award notification was sent, the prize may be forfeited and an alternate Winner(s) selected. Receipt by Winners of the prize offered in this Promotion is conditioned upon compliance with any and all federal, state, and local laws and regulations. ANY VIOLATION OF THESE OFFICIAL RULES BY WINNER(S) (AT KANSAS FARM FOOD CONNECTION’S SOLE DISCRETION) WILL RESULT IN WINNER’S DISQUALIFICATION AS WINNER(S) OF THE PROMOTION, AND ALL PRIVILEGES AS WINNER(S) WILL BE IMMEDIATELY TERMINATED.
7. ODDS OF WINNING: The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
8. GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS: Kansas Farm Food Connection reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion should virus, bug, non-authorized human intervention, fraud, or other cause beyond Kansas Farm Food Connection’s control corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, or proper conduct of the Promotion. In such case, Kansas Farm Food Connection may select the Winner from all eligible entries received prior to and/or after (if appropriate) the action taken by Kansas Farm Food Connection. Kansas Farm Food Connection reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers or attempts to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the Promotion or website or violates these Terms & Conditions. Kansas Farm Food Connection has the right, in its sole discretion, to maintain the integrity of the Promotion, to void votes for any reason, including, but not limited to: multiple entries from the same user from different IP addresses; multiple entries from the same computer in excess of that allowed by Promotion rules; or the use of bots, macros, scripts, or other technical means for entering. Any attempt by an entrant to deliberately damage any website or undermine the legitimate operation of the Promotion may be a violation of criminal and civil laws. Should such an attempt be made, Kansas Farm Food Connection reserves the right to seek damages to the fullest extent permitted by law.
9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: By entering, You agree to release and hold harmless Kansas Farm Food Connection and its subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, partners, representatives, agents, successors, assigns, employees, officers, and directors from any liability, illness, injury, death, loss, litigation, claim, or damage that may occur, directly or indirectly, whether caused by negligence or not, from: (i) such entrant’s participation in the Promotion and/or his/her acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize or any portion thereof; (ii) technical failures of any kind, including but not limited to the malfunction of any computer, cable, network, hardware, or software, or other mechanical equipment; (iii) the unavailability or inaccessibility of any transmissions, telephone, or Internet service; (iv) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Promotion; (v) electronic or human error in the administration of the Promotion or the processing of entries.
10. PUBLICITY GRANT: By entering, You understand and agree that Kansas Farm Food Connection, anyone acting on behalf of Kansas Farm Food Connection, has permission (except where prohibited by law) to use any winner’s name, likeness, prize won, hometown, and/or comments about winning for purposes of online posting, advertising, promotion and publicity relating to the Promotion, and in any and all media, now or hereafter known, throughout the world for three (3) years from the date the winner was confirmed as a winner without additional compensation, notification, permission or approval.
11. WAIVER: Released Parties are not responsible for any technical, mechanical, or other error of any kind resulting from force majeure circumstances beyond their reasonable control and relating to or in connection with the Promotion, including, without limitation, errors which may occur in the administration of the Promotion, the processing of entries, the announcement of the prize or any Promotion-related materials caused by such force majeure event. Participation to the Promotion by internet implies the acknowledgement by the Entrants of internet and IT systems technical limits. As a consequence Released Parties shall not be liable for damage to any computer system resulting from participating in, or accessing or downloading information in connection with this Promotion, incomplete, lost, late, stolen, damaged, inaccurate, misdirected, garbled, delayed or undelivered entries, or for technical hardware or software malfunctions or failures of any kind, lost, unavailable network connections, or failed, incomplete, garbled or delayed computer transmission, which may limit an individual’s ability to participate and/or the failure of any third party to comply with the instructions and proper administration of this Promotion. Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion, to disqualify any Entrant or Entry that is in violation of the Official Rules or to cancel, suspend or modify the Promotion, and disqualify any implicated Entrant(s), (and their entries) if any fraud, virus, actions by Entrants, technical or other error or problem of any kind, or any other occurrence corrupts or affects the administration, integrity, security, or proper play of the Promotion. In the event of cancellation, Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to select the potential winner in a random drawing from among all eligible, non-suspect entries received up to the time of the event or action warranting such cancellation or to take any other action it deems equitable to fairly award any prize. CAUTION: Any attempt by an Entrant to deliberately damage any web site or undermine the legitimate operation of the Promotion is a violation of criminal and civil laws, and should such an attempt be made, Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such Entrant to the fullest extent permitted by law, including criminal prosecution. Sponsor is not responsible in the event Sponsor is prevented from continuing with the Promotion as contemplated herein by any event beyond its control, including but not limited to fire, flood, earthquake, explosion, labor dispute or strike, act of God or public enemy, satellite or equipment failure, riot or civil disturbance, terrorist threat or activity, war (declared or undeclared) or any federal, state, or local government law, order, or regulation, or order of any court or other cause not within Sponsor's control or concerns regarding the safety of any Entrant or winner, or otherwise.
12. DISPUTES: THIS Promotion IS GOVERNED BY THE LAWS OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA AND KANSAS, WITHOUT RESPECT TO CONFLICT OF LAW DOCTRINES. As a condition of participating in this Promotion, participant agrees that any and all disputes that cannot be resolved between the parties, and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Promotion, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, exclusively before a court located in Kansas having jurisdiction. Further, in any such dispute, under no circumstances shall participant be permitted to obtain awards for, and hereby waives all rights to, punitive, incidental, or consequential damages, including reasonable attorney’s fees, other than participant’s actual out-of-pocket expenses (i.e. costs associated with entering this Promotion). Participant further waives all rights to have damages multiplied or increased.

14. META: The Promotion hosted by Kansas Farm Food Connection and is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Meta. You understand that You are providing your information to Kansas Farm Food Connection and not to Meta.
15. WINNERS LIST: To obtain a copy of the Winner’s name or a copy of these Official Rules, mail your request along with a stamped, self-addressed envelope to: Kansas Farm Food Connection, c/o New Boston Creative Group, 315 Houston St., Ste. E, Manhattan, KS 66502. Requests must be received no later than November 20, 2024, 12 p.m. CDT.
16. ADMINISTRATOR: The Administrator of the Promotion is New Boston Creative Group, 315 Houston St., Ste. E, Manhattan, KS 66502.
17. AGREEMENT TO RULES: By participating, the Contestant (“You”) agree to be fully unconditionally bound by these Rules, and You represent and warrant that You meet the eligibility requirements. In addition, You agree to accept the decisions of Kansas Farm Food Connection as final and binding as it relates to the content of this Promotion.
