Want to experience the beauty of the Kansas countryside, enjoy delicious meals and learn more about where your family’s food comes from? Visit with the farmers and ranchers who raise your food at the 4thannual Farm to Fork Tour and Dinner in Butler County!
The event has gotten rave reviews for featuring some of the signature agriculture operations in Kansas. Participants will climb aboard luxury charter buses for a tour of local food, fuel, pharmaceutical and fiber producers. Plus, you get to top off your day by dining on an expertly prepared feast of local foods! What’s not to love?
The event features a tour and dinner. You can attend both activities, or just one.
The tour will last from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Registration starts at 8 a.m. and buses will depart at 8:30 a.m. In addition to visiting several agricultural stops, there will be a locally produced lunch at noon and a pasture picnic at 3 p.m. before buses return at 5 p.m.
The dinner will feature a mixer starting at 5:30 p.m. followed by a locally produced “I’m of Butler” dinner prepared by a local chef starting at 6 p.m. Dinner is expected to last until 8 p.m.
Tickets and Pricing
Tickets for the tour cost $40 and tickets for dinner cost $45. If you’d like to attend both, a full-day pass is available for $75.
Proceeds will benefit the Ag in the Classroom Program, as well as go toward scholarships for high school seniors.
