About the Event

“What do you want to be when you grow up?” As our kids get older, the stakes get higher for this question. But it’s tough to answer if you don’t know what options are out there.

Take agriculture. There’s farming, of course. But there’s so much more:

  • Commodities and trade
  • Ethanol
  • Finance and risk management
  • Marketing and communications
  • Policy and law

These are just a few areas of expertise that the ag world needs.

If you or your kids are curious to learn more, check out Kansas Corn’s Career Connections panel at Kansas State University.

The event will feature experts from the ag industry, information on the Kansas Corn Collegiate Academy and Next Generation Scholarship, plus an opportunity for students to have their resumes looked at.

Read one student’s take on how the event and program impacted her.

So, encourage your kids and students to attend for great information, and bonus: free pizza and giveaways!
