Biking Across Kansas event 1

If you’re looking for some fitness motivation, we have a fun event for you: the 2018 Biking Across Kansas (BAK) bicycle tour. The tour runs across the state from the Colorado border to the Missouri border and provides a unique way to see the state’s beautiful scenery—from the high plains to the rolling hills—all with warm Kansas hospitality along the way.

Each year, BAK features a different route. This year, the tour will pass through:

  • Johnson City
  • Ulysses
  • Meade
  • Greensburg
  • Coldwater
  • Zenda
  • Belle Plaine
  • Winfield
  • Longton
  • Elk City
  • St. Paul

It will include overnight stops in:

  • Montezuma
  • Ashland
  • Pratt
  • Clearwater
  • Burden
  • Fredonia
  • Arma

Cyclists from all over Kansas and as far away as Massachusetts, Florida and California join in, and they range in age from 8 to 80! This will be the 44th year of the event.

  • The Dalton Gang Hideout in Meade
  • The Big Basin sinkhole in Clark County
